Assessment services

At CGSP we provide a range of comprehensive formal and informal assessments to investigate your concerns, to provide differential diagnosis, to develop client-centered goals and therapy plans, to track progress, and to support funding applications for schemes such as the NDIS.

Our speech pathologists are trained in the use of an extensive range of assessment tools and would be happy to discuss options with you. To help us complete a comprehensive assessment, family members, carers and/or school staff may also be asked to complete questionnaires and checklists to provide important information about the client across contexts.

Following an assessment, a range of different report options will be discussed with you. The type of report required will depend on the purpose of the assessment (for example, some clients require a letter for a paediatrician, whilst others require a full diagnostic report or a court letter).

We also offer kindergarten and early education screening programs.
